The play imagines what it might be like in the unrealized 2005 architectural proposal for Wenceslas Square by Marcela Steinbachová and Bronislav Stratil. A contemporary flâneur explores the network of underground passages beneath a square that has come to symbolize democracy in post-revolutionary Czech society, but is at the same time shaped by the paradigms of late capitalism.
